Their two prominent edge players in Jack Sawyer and JTT are returning for their senior years. Their starting DT Kylin Williams is returning. Their starting CBs Denzel Burke and Jordan Hancock are staying. Lathan Ransom is returning at Safety.

They will return 8 starters on a top 5 nationally ranked defense, to add this will probably be the most talented and deepest Defense Jim Knowles will have ever had as the players they were rotating in this year to groom to start next year will now be experienced depth to rotate with guys who were projected as first or second day picks.

On offense, they return a great RB in Henderson when healthy and added one of the SECs most productive RBs in the last 2 seasons for a 1-2 punch. Added a QB who put up Kyle McCords stays with 25% of the talent and surrounding cast. They replace MHJ with the #1 recruit in the country or another 5* in Brandon Innis. They return Egbuka who was a consensus top 50 prospect.

They also return 4 starters on the OL, and already added Alabamas veteran center McLaughlin.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a complete team return since Ohio States underclassmen from the 2001 season return for the title season in 02 and this may the most talented roster top to bottom Ohio State has had. Maybe not the elite top end talent of Meyers teams, but a lot of back ups would be starting at about 75% of schools. I truly believe this season is the year Ryan Days career get defined, for better or for worse.
