Original Title: An interesting nugget in relation to the Ravens’ near perfect record against the NFC when Lamar is their starter: Their one loss was against the Giants, who employ the Ravens’ most recently departed DC

The Ravens and Lamar Jackson are 20-1 against the NFC, which is a near perfect record. Despite playing several stacked teams like the 2019 and 2023 49ers, their sole loss to an NFC team with Jackson starting has been to the 2022 New York Giants.

What makes this interesting is that this was the first year recently departed Defensive coordinator Wink Martindale was employed by the Giants, who was employed by the Ravens for most of Jackson’s career.
