Was watching a YouTube series on the history of the wishbone and it occurred to me that the winning coach was lifted up on the shoulders of the players more frequently in the past than I can remember in recent years. In fact, the only time I can remember for sure was Mack Brown after the 2006 Rose Bowl win. There are probably much more recent examples that I just can’t think of at the moment.

Can you think of any notable examples? What’s the most recent example? Has it fallen out of favor for some reason in particular like Gatorade baths?
