I’ve been posting various “Jets are inept” stats all year long. However, I think this, is the single most Jets stat, maybe ever.

Using Pro Football Reference and searching for QBs who started week 1, I believe Aaron Rodgers is the only QB since 1950 (No QB Start data before then) to start a team’s opening game at QB and not complete a pass in the season.

Data Source:

  • Started game : Yes
  • Passing Yards <= 0
  • Team Game Span = 1 to 1

Then Cross referenced the 9 QBs who didn’t complete a pass in their game against what they did the rest of the season
