I think that if a defense scores a touchdown, 6 points (and 7 with the extra point) should be SUBTRACTED from the opponents score instead of added to yours. This would do 2 things:

  1. It more fairly represents the efforts of the offense and defense. If a game ends 34 - 27, but had a scoop & score. The actual total was 20 - 27. It gives the defense a little more respect since they earned those points.
  2. It adds some flair to the game itself. Imagine sending an opponent into a negative score… We could call it the “the sub 6” or something. How hilarious would that be.

Anyways I had to get that off my chest. Let me know if yall have any other rules that could be changed.
