All three NFCW teams (Seahawks, Rams, and 49ers) each have had two Super Bowl appearances in that period.

With the 49ers looking as good as they do and a solid chance for both the Rams and the Seahawks to make the playoffs this year, the division could very well represent the NFC in the Super Bowl yet again.

Obviously, single teams like the Pats and the Chiefs have had a lot of success, but is it safe to say that the NFCW has been the strongest overall division in this time frame?

The second-closest is the AFCW, having appeared in 5 Super Bowls in this same time frame, though only two teams make up their appearances.
