This year, Mizzou made the bizarre accomplishment of completing the “Tennessee Gauntlet”, by beating Middle Tennessee, Memphis, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee. While it’s mostly just odd that all four ended up on their schedule, it got me thinking of other states. Which state would produce the hardest set of teams to conquer? Which one would be the most feasible, provided that there’s more than like three teams in the state?

Obviously the first one that comes to mind would be the “Texas Gauntlet”, which would be a grueling 13-game schedule consisting of:

• Baylor
• Houston
• TCU
• Texas Tech
• SMU
• UTSA
• Rice
• UNT
• UTEP
• Sam Houston
• Texas State

Obviously this would be impossible to complete in a single season, but what other impressive all-state schedules could you come up with?
