I envision this as, like in Brohm’s case, a coach moving from one school to another, but I guess you can include if it’s in a conference realignment manner (e.g., if Gary Pinkel had been in a Big 12 conference championship game in 2011 (if one had existed) and then made the SEC conference championship game in 2012).
