I didnt go to college, but im from Las Cruces NM, and the nearest major league sports teams are 6 hours away. I love sports but I always hated that im from a state with no major league teams, I felt left out of the party. So i fell in love with the NMSU Aggies when i was a kid and found out that there was a sports team from my hometown that was occasionally on national tv and occasionally talked about on ESPN.

Then i slowly learned more about college football and i love the history, passion and traditions that professional sports could never compare to. I still watch major league sports and i have my teams (i chose all the colorado teams) that i have supported since i was a kid, and i have seen them win the super bowl and other championships, but the feeling i felt in 2017 when the aggies beat south alabama to make them bowl eligible for the first time in 60 years is a feeling i had never experiendlced before, i finally understood why people feel so passionate about sports. And i love the college football makes it possible for the whole country to experience this, not just the major cities
