Thames Water hosepipe ban to continue through autumn amid drought

It needs to if we’re going to have water. Unless we have a month of torrential downpours where some other villages in the Devon wash away, we’re going to be so low on water.

The summer was absolutely brutal, but what I don’t get is why they didn’t sound the alarm loudly at the start of the summer?

I didn’t hear anything about water shortages until about mid August and I swear that we’ve have less hot summers where we’ve had warning far in advance.
