I’m not normally one for conspiracy theories, but it’s just too much of a coincidence to me that ESPN has a financial stake in the CFP and is the only network defending the committee’s decision while the overwhelming consensus everywhere else is they got it wrong leaving out FSU. So now the question is, why was Booger the exception who spoke out genuinely on the Selection Show?

Did he not get the same message given to everyone else on the panel? Maybe he DID get the message but decided “Oh well, if they fire me, so be it.” Hell, maybe ESPN even planned him to speak out to lower suspicions that there was any collaboration going on. Any other conspiracy theories about this?
