  Just a note on this, as some might be surprised that I’m not filing this away under my community for censorship & surveillance news. Since in this situation, the Brendan Carr is asking Jimmy Kimmel to follow longstanding FCC regulations, rather than applying additional censorship rules, or applying existing rules in an unusual way, I’m choosing to treat this as media/programming news rather than censorship news.

      It’s always been enforced. What this truly means is that Kimmel does not intend to interview the Republican opponent, as I presume that he has in the past.
