You'd think an engineering university might have less fragile people in it, but sitting in my inbox today is an email from the Division of Student Life, whatever the hell that is, saying that multiple counselors in multiple departments are available to support students as a result of yesterday's verdict.
How are people like this? Since when do people need support about a criminal trial 1000 miles away that doesn't affect them in the slightest (the university is overwhelmingly white/asian)?
I feel sorry for humanity...
