  Expecting corporations, or the major parties in bed with them, to simply give workers better conditions? Yes, fanciful.

  That’s why we need robust worker unions that use these opportunities to demand better.

      Better working conditions were never given; if you can find a counter example I’d love to know it.

      Better working conditions only ever come because workers organise, demand, and fight for them to be entrenched in law.
