Hi friends,
I teach middle school social studies. My kids are having a debate on whether their newly discovered island should adopt a free market economy or a mixed economy (mixed economy = basically what the US has now - “capitalism” with government regulation involved.)
One group will argue that the island should adopt a free market economy. The other group will argue for a mixed economy.
If you all could help me with some good introductory sources on the issue, I would greatly appreciate it. I need to have something to get them started. Whether your source is for a free market or a mixed economy, either would be great. Sincerely appreciate you all in advance!
