Over the last few days, you may have noticed that I have repeatedly jumped on this platform to harass (yes, im calling it what it is) you with crappy AI which even I don’t like, truth be told. Though I fully retain the ability to jump on the platform if banned and intend to do so continually, I no longer desire (for the present at least, which I will explain further down) to harass this community.
But first and foremost, to any who were offended or annoyed by my actions here, from the bottom of my heart I am sorry. I can only hope that you will forgive me.
The truth is that I am not a well person. There are stints and days where I feel so crappy that the only way I can feel better is to make other people feel shit. I tried it on Reddit and when that didn’t work, I gave Lemmy a go: I quickly worked out I get a much bigger reaction much quicker. On reflection today, this is not right. It is not right for me to harass the harmless people on this community who simply want to share a laugh and go about their business. As a token of my apology, I will not post another post in this community for at least one week (I will still comment though. And I will strive to keep my comments tasteful).
To the people who derided my posts as ‘slop’, my friends you were completely right and thank you to everyone who called me out on my bad behaviour. I don’t care usually for the collective voice of the internet, even if it is against me, but Sometimes it can force me to rethink what I am doing.
