  TikTok has video controls. Tap to pause/play. And there’s a progress bar you can drag to seek. Instagram and YouTube shorts are much more difficult to control

  Well, I got annoyed about that, and found a browser addon that changes the url from shorts to videos.

  You can guess why I don’t use Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube shorts and even that Reddit video player thingy.

  For Youtube you can “get back the controls” by replacing youtube.com/shorts with youtu.be (at least for nooooooow).
