This is something I think about going into every season - do we have a player that is so good they could be one of the best in school history?
For South Carolina this year, no I don’t believe so. Though many fans will/would say Rattler is the most talented QB we’ve ever had, he’s still a ways off from accomplishing and achieving what Connor Shaw did. WR Xavier Legette is talented enough and has already put up a top 5 receiving season, but his career compared to our other great WRs is lacking.
For instance though, Brock Bowers at Georgia may be TE1 on their all-time roster.
