It’s not quite clear what “cover debts” means or does here.
If it’s actually paying off the debts of those trapped in energy debt/energy poverty, so they’re no longer in debt, then I’m all for it. Great idea.
If it’s just to pay some greedy bastard’s bonus, whilst the most vulnerable in society continue to suffer debt in an energy poverty trap, then it can fuck the fuck off.
I imagine it’s the latter one.
