I just learned you can connect Cheers to X-Files through a few steps of crossovers and that made me think if there are crossover episodes between shows of different genres? Kind of like Mulder and Scully appeared in The Simpsons.
Do you know of any episodes where characters from maybe a drama show appeared in a sitcom? And not in a small cameo. Think more like agents from CSI: Los Angeles solve a crime in an episode of The Big Bang Theory and they are a sitcom version of their original characters? Maybe even a double episode split between both shows?
