I have 3 small ones.
- Why the fuck are you drinking from an empty coffee cup? You can tell. You cannot wave a fucking coffee around like they do in scenes and have the fluid not just fucking spill everywhere. I know it’s stupid, but it’s so easy to tell.
- The fact that ANY time a gun is shown, a character will pick up a pistol, rack the slide, chamber a round, then holster it… only to pull it back out maybe 20 seconds later and do the EXACT same thing again. No, fuck ya’ll all you just did was chuck out a perfectly good round. It was already ready to go. But they do this to signal to the viewer that shit’s about to go down.
- A LOT of modern TV seems to have a part about 38 minutes into the show where the main character just launches into a monologue, speaking to the other characters on the show (but really speaking to the viewer), telling them everything that’s already happened and how they solved the case… because the modern-day viewer is apparently too stupid to keep track of it.
also bonus points for having to spend a fortune using CGI in a show to make a location look like somewhere else…when you could just as easily have written the show to be set in the location ur filming (like that all the lies show, which is set in chicago but filmed in melbourne and they spent like 3m dollas on VFX to make melbourne look like chicago when the plot didnt need it
