Seven Afghan men charged over child sexual exploitation

The charges relate to two girls, aged in their early to mid-teens at the time of the alleged offences, and are said to have happened between August 2023 and May 2025 in Norwich.

All seven men spoke only to confirm their names when they appeared before magistrates in Norwich earlier.

Police said the men’s immigration status was “refugee”.

Five of the defendants entered the country on small boats, according to the police.

One came to the UK concealed on a lorry and another arrived via a port.

I hope we have a deal in place with the Taliban soon. If these guys are guilty, they should be sent back immediately.

They’d probably get praised for their actions in Afghanistan.

    Those Afghans grew up in a society where it’s commonplace to sexually abuse little kids.
    
    Bacha bazi is a pederastic practice in Afghanistan and in historical Turkestan, in which men exploit and enslave adolescent boys, sometimes for sexual abuse, and/or coerce them to cross-dress in attire traditionally only worn by women and girls and dance for entertainment.[7] The man exploiting the young boy is called a bacha baz (literally “boy player”)[3] and the young boy is called a bacha.
