We are in an era where we consume television and movies on streaming, with many people binging their shows, trying to limit themselves to a limited number of services, and frustrated with ongoing price increases + more and more commercials and ads.
I don’t even mind the commercials, it definitely helps the classic shows having a dramatic cliffhanger moment leading into a commercial break.
But every streaming service circulates the same 3-5 commercials on every show during every break. Every damn time. I swear next time I hear that stupid Target song, “Limu Emu” or “liberty biberty” i’m gonna need their insurance to payout what they have coming to them.
I hate to be that middle aged millennial, but I miss the days when there were enough variety of commercials on tv that I didn’t have it memorized after just two episodes.
