I’m going with GoT having the worst final season. It all felt rushed and underwritten. And major points deducted because the death of its chief villain, Cersei, was entirely unsatisfying and half-baked.
Meanwhile, despite the pretty bad final season of The Boys, I give it the edge because the death of Homelander was so cathartic: Butcher performing a brutal beatdown… Homelander begging for his life… Butcher administering the final headshot with the crowbar, then separating Homelander’s brain from his skull. It was everything the death of Cersei wasn’t. It was also much, much better than the death of King Joffrey, for that matter.
