After I watched the Boys SERIES FINALE, despite the various nonsensical and ultimately meaningless plotlines, ignoring various weird decisions or massive, gaping plot holes (See Eric kripke, ANYONE can do a stupid asshole joke, it’s not as smart as you think), the single most irritating thing STILL is how limited, one dimensional, and cheap the production now feels.
Just watch the first two minutes of S1E1. Car chases. CGI. Multiple extras walking down the street in outdoor shoots.
Where did all the budget go and why did anyone think to assume that we would not notice?
