For me, the first and foremost is Band of Brothers. It’s just incredible and really nothing has come close, which is saying something after a quarter of a century (my inner millennial screams in denial that it’s only 2015).
The second and more recent one I’ll name is A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Amazing acting, music, pacing, characters etc. Got rid of everything I didn’t care for in GoT and just left the gold.
