I feel this show did a whole bait and switch from what it was advertised as. It was promoted as this person who has to break into and steal his neighbours’ goods to continue living his rich life and ends up in trouble with the criminal underworld.
Season 1 did a decent enough job of this to keep the viewer engaged, but in season 2 they don’t seem to have an idea of what to focus on. There’s bullshit storylines about if his daughter wants to keep playing tennis and what school she’s going to, his son’s teenage troubles with girls, and his wife going through menopause.
Like wtf, none of those is why I would tune into this show, and it’s making it incredibly hard to watch.
This show is like if Breaking Bad was promoted as it was but then halfway through it turns into Skylar dealing with a bipolar disorder and the Marie’s kleptomania are season long storylines.
Of and Mike has a stamp collection he’s seriously interested in.
