I’ve been on an audio drama/fiction podcast binge lately and while many of them lose the plot the longer they go on despite a strong premise and opening season, there are more than a few gems from start to finish.

You would think that with scripts and plot synopsis either several seasons in or conpletely finished that these audio dramas would be perfect for TV.

Built in audience already, demonstrated success, tbe product is practically gift wrapped.

Amazon had success adapting Lore to the screen

I recently found out they have had the rights to my favorite fiction podcast (originally a story on r/nosleep) The Left/Right Game. They have had it in development since 2020 and I am convinced it just is not going to be made at this point.

Why aren’t studios clamoring for the these? it doesn’t seem hard to adapt many to the screen.
