So many changes are coming to the league: expanded B1G, expanded playoff, dissolution of B1G divisions. Many people have said this is the last year The Game will feel like The Game. In the future UM and OSU may play 2 weeks in a row and even meet for a third time in the playoffs.

The stakes will never be higher than they are now: Both teams (as of now) undefeated. Both teams vying for playoff berths. Both teams with Heisman hopefuls (not you Honda McCord).

It just feels right that things should be dialed up to 11 this year. The last real year. Both teams engaging in a PR war in the media. Hiring PIs (not confirmed I know but humor me), filing lawsuits, trying to get coaches suspended. The Game thread is going to be so toxic. It’s beautiful. This is why this is the greatest rivalry in sports. I love it. And I can’t wait.
