5 eps into S2 of Your Friends & Neighbors and I think I’m giving up. The first seasons hook of stealing from your friends and the mystery of the murder kept things going and the season came to a natural conclusion. I’m finding myself really not caring about any of the storylines this season. I think what made these characters interesting in season 1 was how all their lives were impacted by Coop’s thievery and the murder. Now it’s just…back to normal people problems? I don’t care about Mel’s menopause, Nicks gym expansion, Ali’s new job, hunters girlfriends, Elena’s brother… none of this is really all that interesting. The hook with Ashe catching Coop was good but really hasn’t gone anywhere all that exciting to justify all these other bland storylines. And Barney’s character from season 1 would never have joined in on Coop’s plans, it’s very out of character. Curious everyone else’s takes
