I am a rich booster of my university (I am not but hear me out) The AD comes to me and says “I need this much money to hire Coach A” I help him do so. Three years later he comes back to me…“I need this much money to fire Coach A, and then even more to hire Coach B. I also need a lot more to build a new locker room and do revisions at the stadium.
