Last night I was watching WWE Friday Night SmackDown. I started it from my DVR from the beginning because right when it was beginning I was actually on YouTube watching the Artemis II
Splashdown so I started SmackDown about 20-30 minutes late. I began it at the beginning to see it from the start. Even with fast forwarding through commercials I never quite caught up to live TV To make things worse, as I was nearing the end of the show it just stopped. The show wasn’t quite over yet. All of a sudden it just froze the picture and said something about Save or Delete recording. Well, stupid me, I accidentally hit delete. Now I’d like to watch the On Demand version. I’ve watched the on demand version before and it seems to always stop short of the program’s end as well. Is this a known issue?? You’d think the On Demand version would show the entire program since it’s not the one that was recorded from and stored on the DVR.
Help, totally confused and a bit upset.
PS, I’ve already added this to the DIRECTV stream subreddit, but they take forever to answer sometimes so I thought maybe asking here would give me a quicker response.
