After seeing so many people praise it on various reddit threads, I’ve finally watched and finished The Good Place.
It was funny (and this is coming from someone who doesn’t like The Office but loves Trailer Park Boys and American Dad)
It was emotional, really tackled a lot of different themes that you don’t really get in a cable network show. The writing was very good I think.
The chemistry felt off the charts. Loved the cameos, the casting, liked how it was shorter episodes (20-30 minute episodes)
Overall, I just think it’s a great show, well worth the praise and well worth a watch.
For context, my favorite shows are Halt and Catch Fire, Dark, Game of Thrones, The Americans, Breaking Bad etc. So this was kind of out of my normal/comfort zone for serious watches.
