Growing up in the 60s we had 4 or 5 television channels, all local, with “rabbit ears” sitting on top of the TV. Now, with all the improvements in hardware, software, signals, digital, analog, etc., you can’t get a good signal unless you have line of sight, no weather interference, all the planets are aligned, and whatever. It shouldn’t be so complicated. An antenna worked sometimes (certain channels, occasional pixelation), but not consistent.
