I watched Deadwood and Justified back to back and while they are phenomenal show he looked extremely inferior to the supporting cast in both shows.
Especially in Deadwood he picked one facial expression at the beginning of the show and kept using it for the entire 3 seasons regardless of the situation.
He wasn’t as bad in justified but still mediocre compared to the rest. Especially in his scenes with Walton Goggins the contrast was glaring.
Outside of these 2 shows I have seen him in the Hitman movie that is basically about and emotionless character which ironically was a great fit for him.
I might be too hard on him but what are your thoughts?
