Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat is the greatest show on television. This has no fucking right to be as good as it does.
The show within the show, a modern mockumentary of a corporate retreat, is funnier than 90% of all new comedies released in the last year (according to my own opinion).
The characters are well fleshed out, with obvious commitment from their actors. The multiple A+ storylines that are all happening in real time are impressive. I find myself fascinated about the concept of just the logistics of this show, and how they likely had to hold a real, weeklong event, with actual content, and food, staff, and accommodations.
This must have taken so long to plan and the execution had to have even top notch to film the entire show in essentially 1 shot with everyone keeping the same secret.
And it is fucking amazing. And you have to wait a week for new episodes. And it’s on Amazon prime. And it should suck but it doesn’t.
It’s good, go watch it.
