Anyone else find themselves with a massive mental (or note-app) list of shows and movies to watch, but no good way to organize it?
I’d been using a mix of sticky notes, watchlist apps, and asking friends via text — it was chaos. So a few months ago I started building CineConnect, a free iOS app that lets you:
- Track what you’re watching, want to watch, and have finished
- See what your friends are currently watching or recommend
- Get AI-powered recommendations based on your actual taste (not just “because you watched X”)
It’s free, it’s on iOS, and it covers both movies and TV shows. I wanted something social — like Letterboxd but not limited to cinephiles, and built for TV too.
