this was truly such a beautiful cohesive love story and i think they should leave it as it is with ilya and shane’s love starting to blossom and end on a high with acceptance from the family and an inspiring trajectory — we have seen far too many love story’s end in tragedy or experience the hardships we are all too familiar with so leaving this story as a stand alone good outcome fairy tale would be more beneficial to the gay cannon of film and television.
