I had the pleasure of watching mad men for the first time in my life and finished the last episode today which is a day before my 30th birthday. I feel bittersweet and empty. I was fully invested in this show
I want to say that every single character in this show, whether they are a minor character or a major character, is absolutely stellar
The acting, the characters, the dialogue, the music, etc is simply top notch. The show is an absolute masterpiece and if you actually just remove the plot of the show, you’ll find that just watching the characters interact with each other to be enough. I don’t remember the last time I was so delighted to watch every single episode knowing how good the actors are with each other and the characters they just build every single episode
Bravo to the whole team. Bravo to the writers for creating such flawed and fun characters that you just love every second of
I’m gonna miss this show so much. I’m taking a break from watching a TV series because the show was so heavy and poetic. I hope to do a rewatch in the future because this show absolutely deserves it.
