What's you opinion on fictional brands on TV and how do you feel about real life brands in TV shows and them two sometimes mixing together

I have noticed in American shows there a lot of product placements or sometimes they pause do an ad read and it feels a bit off.

But i love spotting fictional brands on TV especially ones that appear in lot of shows, best example is Morley’s cigarettes but seeing how it’s very similar Malabro ones it could just be sneaky way to get product placement.
