use a journey method or memory palace memory technique, basically translate the list in to memorable pictures (like for milk, maybe a cow) and put them in a line, you can remember them that way
but for me I kind of just know the same things I buy regularly and just go section by section and mix and match what I need, I also use a digital or paper list oftentimes
Yes. I read a book once about how to remember stuff. This was the method. Make it all visual and related somehow. Tell a story to yourself. It's a lot of damn work though. Now I just talk into my phone and it make a note. Fucking technology is ruining us lol.
