As a Husky, I’m sad at the thought of not having an Apple Cup every year against WSU. These local rivalries are a great time for family/friend groups who have people on both sides to enjoy great wholesome trash talk and fun. We have bonds that make our rivalry special.

I’m sure there’s Ducks/Beaver family/friend groups who feel the same way.

Will UW/WSU and UO/OSU commit to playing each other every year? Or maybe other rivalries like Cal or Stanford with UCLA and USC?

I’m just sad about it :-(
