I take a few night shifts each month and I use that time to catch up on some tv. Needed something new to watch and saw that Columbo was available on Prime and I’m really pleasantly surprised.

The structure of the show and Columbo himself are so unique to me. I love that each episode begins with the crime, shows exactly what happens and we get to see Columbo find the solution. And Columbo is all in all a very chill guy. Haven’t finished the first season (each episode is roughly 75 minutes) but he comes forward as courtious, kind, chill etc. He’s not a super genious but he’s very competent, perceptive and intuitive.

It’s a 50 year old show at this point but I’d love to see more stuff like Columbo.
