Schadenfreude - enjoyment in other people’s misfortunes. It kind of fits the the theme this week.
I’m not above schadenfreude with this Michigan sign stealing stuff. But as I get older, I must admit that my energy to hate reduces. I hate Michigan for about one week out of the year now.
I can say my hate for the U is still very strong though and that was over 20 years ago. I can remember vividly all the doubters and claims that we had no athletes or enough speed to compete in that game. I still enjoy Ohio State becoming good and Coral Gables, Miami football becoming bad.
