Oklahoma State started out their season narrowly winning against Central Arkansas, straight up losing to South Alabama, and followed by a (more understandable) loss to Iowa State. Then after a bye week they come out like a butterfly from a cocoon and go on a revenge tour beating K-State (after the blowout loss last year), Kansas (again, crazy loss last year), and West Virginia (the loss that broke our spirit last year). They started out looking like dog crap and now have a legitimate chance to making the Big 12 title game and Ollie Gordon is likely to be a candidate for Heisman this year.
It got me thinking… what other programs have made this kind of turnaround during a season and how did it pan out for them?
