After the last few episodes, I can no longer stay silent. Stumble is the best show that no one is watching.

Do you miss the zany goofs and running gags of Brooklyn 99? Do you long for the wacky characters, setting, and heart of Parks and Rec? Did you love the meta comedy of Community and could stand to watch another show do it at 80%? Give Stumble a whirl.

It is less about the cheerleading and more about the layered jokes and the specificity of characters and setting. It masterfully toes the line of red state/blue comedy without feeling ham-fisted on either side. The balance of satire and heart makes Stumble a feel-good watch that actually makes you laugh out loud. This show is replicating a formula we have seen, yet actually feels fresh. (And yes, the cheerleading stunts are pretty cool.)

It goes without saying that the pilot is the weakest episode. If you’re not in by episode 4, fine.

But whatever you do, do not watch the commercials!
