I recently finished watching ‘The Wire’. I felt the TV show was a highly engaging and a very realistic show. Some of my previous favourites were ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘The Sopranos’. But this show felt very raw and kind of a slow burn.
Sometimes I felt like I was not watching a TV show, it was like the story happening real in front of your eyes. When a show reaches that level, I feel it has achieved the pinnacle in entertainment. Some characters you see them evolve from the first to the last season. And also some characters which live after the show as well.
Interesting watch for people who like social crime kind of shows.
To people who have watched, what was ‘a scene/event’ from the show which stuck with you even after the show?
