Let’s not worry too much about feasibility/realism in this thread. Simply, which college football teams would you like to see either be brought back to life, or come to life?

I’ll start with what are sure to be a couple popular picks by bringing back Wichita State and Long Beach State.

The Wichita State Shockers played from 1897-1986 and had a record of 375-402-47.

The Long Beach State 49ers played from 1955-1991 and had a record of 199-183-4.

Both schools have seen interest from students/fans at different point to restart teams but obviously nothing has ever come from it.

My third submission is the College of Charleston. Despite successful men’s basketball and baseball programs, CofC hasn’t had a football team since 1923. As far as I know there’s been no talk of (re)starting a team.
