Just went back and rewatched WandaVison and I really feel this is head and shoulders above all the other Marvel shows that have come out even though it seems like it has largely been forgotten. It’s such a creative idea to have the episodes represent different eras in sit-com TV with such unique execution that rose above being a gimmick but was actually central to the story and character development.
It suffered from the Lost effect of throwing in too many red herrings to keep intrigue alive and definitely suffered from the Marvel “punch away our problems” issue in the finale. Despite that, it has some stunningly mature writing for a superhero show and the acting, especially from Elizabeth Olsen, was top notch.
