Since championships before the BCS title game were selected by voters of polls, how would a team be able to celebrate a title won after their last game of the season. Would their be some broadcast showing the final poll declaring a champion with teams watching to see if they were ranked number 1 or was there a general idea on which game would be basically the national championship game during the bowl season that was marketed as a national championship game before the actual creation of a national championship.
